I cant take this album out of the CD player. I got it at a show in Lubbock and love it. I have to agree with the other reviews though, if you like the CD then you need to see these fellas live. They kick ass live! Todd has put together one of the best bands I've seen.

I have been hearing about these guys for a little over a year now but never got to hear them live until last month at the Horseman Club in Fort Worth. They played with Jackson Taylor and let me tell you, the $10 cover was more than worth it. The Todd Mankin Band was exactly what they claim to be, high energy TX Music. Their style is the coolest I've seen since the likes of Ragweed and Larue. I had to pick up a CD. Once again I was blown away by the lyrics that Todd infused into the songs. In my mind this is where the future of TX Country is and should be going! The CD is a bit more emotional than the live show, but it's got a permanent spot in my CD player.
