Four-Day March EP
Finally, something unique and different! Maybe they can revive what's becoming a dead scene. What about putting this on LoneStar Tunes for download?

Someone had a party, and they invited Blondie, Waylon Jennings, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Ramones, Neil Diamond, the Old 97s, Kasey Chambers, Fleetwood Mac, etc. and fortunately they left the tape rolling. Some of the neighbors complained because it was too loud, but the smart neighbors either opened their windows so they could hear it better or dropped what they were doing and came over to join in.

Four Day March is a great collection of the influences the individual members of 11 (Eleven) Bones have had on each other. If you ask me it is not like anything the trained Miller or Skinner ears have heard before and in this particular project that is a beautiful thing. Not only can I hear the influence they have on each other but its clear they have been brilliantly influenced by Ramones and Springsteen just to name a couple that come to my mind. Starting with a Dub-led tune that reflects Ramones the most to me then leading you into a song that seems happy enough at first until Meagan Jones is slapping you until you are singing along with her, even if you aren’t sure of the words yet. All the while Silva (no first name needed) is beating you into trying to keep up tempo on your legs. Don’t Want to Fall in Love and Losers are both ominous, heavy departures from what you may be used to hearing out of Skinner and Miller. They really show you what happens when artists leave themselves open to evolving. Wild and Unholy may be the most blatant track where I instantly indentify the influencer and applaud what he’s done to unknowingly help create this song. You can’t help but try to sing your ass off with them. How Long? I have one complaint. WHY did you make me wait until the end of this CD to hear it?! I can not get enough of this song with its relatable lyrics and dark, rich guitar riffs… good thing because its been stuck in my head for at least a week now. Bottom line is this “Super Group”, as they’ve been dubbed, has all the potential in the world. Does the CD have a few directions? Yeah probably, but man I like where they’re headed. No matter how many different areas they explore to get there. Great job!

11 Bones record is awesome. Some people want to hate on it because its different, but that's what makes it cool.

Love 11 Bones! This album only whets my taste for the music to come! Their sound definitely resonates with the Austin-Indie flow! Love "Losers!" Great melody, harmony, & originality!

I've been good friends with 4/5 of Eleven Bones for many years now. You may think that I'm writing a 5-star review for that reason alone. You would be wrong. Eleven Bones takes everything I love about music and cranks it up. There is rockin' country music, story-arcing lyrics, pure rock music and amazing guitar riffs (listen to "How Long" and you'll know what I mean). When I listen to this record, I hear a group of friends who got together to put some tracks down for fun, and ended up making one fantastic piece of music. My only complaint is that they put a mere 6 tracks on it.

11 bones needs to shoot their sound man. Female singer is only one you can actually hear above the overpowering music. THis is being touted as a Dub Miller CD on his site which is a total "rip off" since you can barely hear him on a couple of songs. STAY AWAY!!!!
