This album is an excellent introduction to the songs of Alejandro Escovedo. Few sampler albums are as strong from start to finish as this one. Gave me new respect for Los Lonely Boys, Son Volt, and Jennifer Warnes (yes...."that" Jennifer Warnes). After you listen, you'll be buying copies for your friends.
