Again, Lyle Lovett is a genious. A wickedly clever songwriter with a voice and delivery that makes me have the vapors. (Yes, I am from the South.)
I am going to marry him one day, that Lovett man. When my husband dies. And my husband is old. However, I am not.:)
(By the way - why 4 stars instead of 5? I would have liked to have seen one more new song in this collection.)

This is one of those efforts an artist, once in his life, must do; like hiking the Continental Divide, or white water rafting or sitting alone on a long barren empty mesa and waiting on the sun to go down....Its one of those things I'm glad Lyle chose to do!
