Nothing in this artist sticks out musically, I believe he is only getting attention because he is different not because he is good at what he does.
Good CD with good artists singing good songs. Not a huge fan of the Bruce Robison cut, but all the others are great. Interesting mix of funny and serious.

Kinky has become the new cool thing to support, however the LARGE majority can't tell you what any of his political stances are. I give him 5 stars for marketing but 2 for the music. If you listen to the cd as if you dont know who he is (i.e. an unbias standpoint) it is mediocre at best, but if you fall for the whole "Oh my god I have heard of him and he has such an original standpoint!" position then you will enjoy the CD (and I pity you).
im glad to see he didnt PC this cd up. Takes some real guts to put this stuff out in this day and age and thats a man I would have as governor any day. Political correctness is overrated. Keep politicians out of office. Kinky for governor!

This is a great CD from a live event. When I listen to it I wish I could have been there to see it. Kinky's songs are challenging and in your face but witty at the same time. Let's support Kinky Friedman for Governor of Texas in 2006.
