This CD has some of the best players in the industry and shows it. Now with the band Mike has backing him if he doesn't do something special that would just be bad luck. Keep up the good work!!
This CD is a definite sign that Mikes music and songwriting has evolved. I liked the old music as well dont get me wrong, but this is evolution!! Keep it up Mike. Keep digging up whats inside of you, but make sure there is a pencil handy when you do. Your songs get a little deeper every time I hear a new one. The new band is great too. Thanks for letting us into your world!!

I have both CD's and the live "Bootleg From Poor David's" album. Mike and the Guys have a really unique way of mixing in-your-face Texas Country with old-school Southern Rock. There's heart and soul in the lyrics and real TALENT behind the instruments. This is a great road trip CD... Now how about a DVD?!!! Hey James seek help for penis envy.
Mike is awesome! He loves it on stage. You can see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice, and the big smile on his face! He writes from the heart and it shows!
