Met this guy when he was still with the MMB. Very much a gentleman and was a much needed personality for the group. He brought nothing but class, talent, and hella good guitar playing to the band. I hate to see him leave but if he gets back this way I'll gladly throw down the cover.

This guy is outta this world on the guitar. He wrote all but one song on the CD, and that was House of The Rising Sun. He has mega-range and combined with his guitar ability makes the album a must buy! Rodney is currently the lead guitarist for Mike McClure, but needs to get back out on his own. He really is awesome...buy it...check it out...you won't be disappointed.

I first heard Rodney Pyeatt with the Mike McClure Band. I was so blown away by his guitar playing that I bought his cd at the show. I was stunned when I listened on the way home. This guy is incredible! His original traditional country is unbelieveable and that voice. The cd Texas Beer Joint Tour is truly that. A tour of his life, a little humor in "That's When I'll be Home" and the almost gospel "I Believed Them". If you are tired of hearing the same old thing...get this cd. McClure, you are missing the boat by now having him sing in your show.

Awesome guitar player, great voice and great song writing. So many talents piled into one person. If you missed the TBJT, it's a must that you catch Rodney with the Mike Mclure Band!

What an amazing talent. Further, a nicer guy. It is impossible to find a better guitar player in the "Texas" scene, but Rodney's most striking atribute is his humble and non-assuming attitude towards everything. The over all music scene could seriously benefit from more guys like Rodney. MMB ROCKS~!
