One of the best bands I have heard in a long time! These guys can go from a nice country sound to a kick your ass rock and roll sound. I have seen them several times and always enjoy it. If you haven't seen them yet, its well worth the trip. You will not be dissapointed. I have all his CD's and have simply worn them out. I can't wait until they come out with the new one. I can't let Dean get one before I get mine!

I caught Jayson and the Revival at their new C-D release on Sat. 10/21 at Poor David's in Dallas and man did I love their sound. A true Texas Rocker/kinda Texas sound but really way beyond those borders/ It was a great party, all the band seem to be rally into the music and I loved it!
Real decent stuff. Heartfelt singer with good songs and great lyrics in a crowded scene... he stands out.
When is this guy gonna put out a new album? I love Broken Furniture but I have worn it out.
We heard Raining in Austin on KUT radio and got the album Broken Furniture. It's great! This guy is a songwriter just waiting to be discovered!
Musician - Hate to communicate through something like this, but please don't confuse any song I have with the words "Jesus" in them with preaching religion. I'm a religious person, but not into preaching it or using my platform as a bully pulpit and I don't want anyone to ever feel uncomfortable at a show. Shows are supposed to be fun, and that's all I want anyone to have. The song I think you are referring to anyway is about a drug dealer, and it's just a story. Nothing more......That said, criticism is a good thing and always appreciated.
I saw Jayson after Rattlesnake Annie at Poor David's a couple of weeks ago. I mean this constructively: tell your bass player to raise the action on his bass. I don't think he realizes it (as you would have to be out in the crowd to hear it), but his strings keep clicking with the frets. It's causing a very uncomfortable pop almost everytime he plucks a note.
The whole 'find Jesus thing' is a minus too. People didn't come to poor david's to be preached at, they did it to have a good time. How would it feel if people came to your church to advertise their rock show at a bar?
Overall, I enjoyed the show though. I plan on checking you out at a different venue, because the sound guy was horrible that night!
I caught Jayson's show last weekend at Poor David's in Dallas.( I had gone to see Gary P.Nunn)and man he has an awesome sound! Bought his album this week, I'll darn sure want to hear him again. Great stage presence for his whole band.Really good sounding group.
This guy rocks! Love his tunes and can't wait to see him again.
