Lembo Allen's DANCING ROOM ONLY is a delight from start to finish. "Two Empty Glasses" is very fine as are his takes on such classics as "Cinderella" "Take Me Back to Tulsa" and "San Antonio Rose". The only (very slight) misstep on the album is on Lou Rochelle's "There's Still A Lot Of Love In San Antone". Allen's take on the song is okay but I've heard it done better, most recently by Lisa Layne and by writer Lou Rochelle. Five stars and I'll defintiely buy Lembo Allen's next disc

If you like to dance, or just sing along, you won't be disappointed with Dancing Room Only! Lembo has one of the most powerful voices around, and he knows how to sing these classics. Nice to hear a country CD with a fiddle that won't stop and a steel guitar, too!

Lembo's music takes you back to the dance-hall days. If you are listening in the car, it makes you want to stop, pull over, and get out to dance.

Lembo Allen (Dancing Room Only) Wow! What a talented country singer. Resonant voice, great line, style, phrasing. The boy knows the standards and belts them with authority and great energy -- and the band is fabulous! Lembo, you're the ONE!

This is true classic country at its finest. If you are a fan of some of the songs that made country music great, there is NO way you will not love this CD. I absolutely cannot recommend it highly enough! Fantastic voice, talented band and great song selection.

I haven't been a huge fan of country music for quite a few years. The music being released just hasn't done anything for me. But this spring I heard Dancing Room Only while driving in a friends car. WOW! This is country music like it should be. Lembo can really sing and his band really swings. I've bought copies for my friends and they all like it too.
