All in all, Midnight Rodeo is a pretty nice place. The staff is good, the beer is cold, plenty of parking, etc... We were there for Brandon Rhyder last night, and the crows was pretty good and the show was, too. You CAN NOT smoke in Midnight Rodeo. You have to go outside onto the patio. This is an Austin city ordinance, not something done by the bar, but it still sucks. The crowd seems very young- lots of people between 18-21.
