I love the music, they are incredible players, I just wish the voices were a little more pure and held the note longer and straighter. Some of the songs are really strong, but others the vocals seem to struggle to hold that nice consistent sound. But overall I think that the cd is worth buying for its rawness and nod to molding traditional sound to contemporary lyrics.

I have just recently been introduced to the Meyer-Anderson Band, and I have to say that I like what I hear. They have their own original sound that is cememted with a lot of heart and honesty. They have a good balance between traditional and comtemporary country music. I also like the fact that both Meyer and Anderson sing the lead. This makes for more variety and a change of pace in the music. "Miss You Girl" is performed with such emotion that you almost feel as if you had lived the song yourself. "Nightime Honky Tonk Man" shows the band's chops.

I have been watching Meyer Anderson for 8 years now and they are by far the best band in Texas. The music knowledge and diversity of Craig Anderson and Ted Meyer is absolutely amazing. The CD is a definite must-buy as the music is their own. It is very original.
