You guys are such losers to say that Ryan Adams needs to be stoned to put out good music. Have you been to his concerts or read the lyrics to his new music after sobriety? GIVE HIM A BREAK! People bash him when he's outlandish now they do when he's just putting out good music....GET A LIFE!!!!!! Go put on your headphones and listen to something more your style....like BRYAN ADAMS....

No. An artist should be judged by their most recent output and its sad to say, but Ryan Adams is no longer producing his best music. His peak has past, and the fact that you are capable of forgiving him so easily is quite indicative of the way that music is made to day: with a lowest common denominator in mind that says "No, it doesn't have to be great, just good enough to keep folks from changing the channel." So yeah, maybe I was a little harsh, but mediocre music is mediocre music and I know that Ryan Adams is capable of better than his mots recent songs.

Joe-thats sad, very sad. The cd might not be comparable to some of his past work and hey it happens but shame on you for such a disgusting and upsetting way to review an artist. I suggest everyone get this cd and other Ryan Adam work.

I picked this album up awhile back, listened to it once through and was thoroughly disappointed. "Easy Tiger" was a far overrated album (with critics describing it as "cohesive" and "together" when in fact it was, by Adams' own admission, just a bunch of songs he'd had laying around) and this EP proves that sobriety has really taken away from the Ryan Adams experience. The line "My love for you is real" in the opening track is by far the most trite thing to ever come out of this once poignant songwriter. Sadly, there will never be another Heartbreaker or Cold Roses. I would expect to see more craplike this out of Adams unless he, by some gracious miracle from on high, starts getting messed up again and writing songs that aren't for the pretentious and self-involved Starbucks crowd.
