This world-famous concert venue provides a harmonious blend of music and nature: Built during FDR's New Deal effort to rebuild the economy, Red Rocks stands as a man-made wonder that works in concert with nature. Get there before the show and take a hike; you might see mule deer, falcons, mountain bluebirds and other wildlife. Make sure to take serious sunscreen or a rain poncho, depending on the forecast, and be prepared for long lines (up to three hours) before show time. There are four parking lots, as well as parking on the road. Just remember: The higher you go, the longer you'll wait in a jam after the concert.
