A nonstop weekend of bluegrass, Americana and blues music plus camping and arts and crafts booths.
The Old Settler's Music Festival began in 1987 in Round Rock and benefits Austin Shine Camps, Capital Area Food Bank and SafePlace. Musicians play in a beautiful setting filled with wildflowers. Most of the performances (30 bands and soloists) --and all the master musician workshops--are Friday night and Saturday. Popular children's activities include face painting and a rock climbing wall. Vendors of gourmet food, beer, and wine and an outdoor open-mic stage are hits with the adult attendees.
