I love Pat Green music and am glad is is out there for the world to hear. Texas has to learn to share and be proud of one of their own. He works hard to deliver his music and I love listening!

I love how Texans eat there own. The Texas music scene finally launches an artist that the rest of the country give's a crap about and he's kicked out of the club. He sounds like the same ol Pat Green to me. He's just recording better songs and making records that don't sound like they were recored on somebodies four trac machine. God forbid he have any success and give us all a reason to be proud of Texas music....

After being a fan for over seven years, I have finally decided that I never want to see a Pat Green concert again. Seeing the new him live is like watching your first love stomping on your heart while laughing in your face.

The disgusting transformation becomes obvious just by looking at the CD covers of classic albums like Dancehall Dreamer and Live at Billy Bob's, and then comparing them to the Cannonball cover. Pat once came off as an authentic Texas artist. Now he comes off as Mr. Hollywood.

Pat Green is in an interesting position. The fans in Texas who have supported him for years continue to turn against him due to his new Nashville sound and the fans in other cities could give a rats ass about him. I went to the show in Sacramento tonight hoping to get a taste of the Pat Green music I know and love and it was crap. No Southbound 35, no Dancehall Dreamer...all Cannonball, Dixie Lullaby, nashville crap. I'll still keep his older CD's constantly rotating in my car, but his new stuff is pretty terrible. What is sad is that since day 1 he is the one who has been preaching against exactly what he is now doing.
