EYB’s previous album LIFE AT BEST scored back-to-back chart-toppers with the DOUBLE PLATINUM smash "Crazy Girl" and PLATINUM hit "Even If It Breaks Your Heart." The former was also named Billboard’s 2011 #1 Country Song of the Year and won the 2012 ACM Awards Song of the Year while the latter was nominated for GRAMMY Best Country Song, CMA Single of the Year, Song of the Year as well as ACM Single of the Year and Song of the Year.
 
For the third consecutive year, EYB is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year at the ACM Awards, airing April 6 on CBS at 8P ET.

I've been a fan of the EYB for 3 years now. I've followed them across nearly every highway in Texas, to Nashville and all the way to Steamboat Springs. They're the greatest group of guys you could ask to have around. This band isn't about clothes and an image, they're about music. And Brandon, for the record, Mike Eli and James Young are real people. However, Eli Young is the name of a band! You're an idiot and you have lost touch with what Texas music is about so your points are invalid. Simply put... this band is destined for great things that they wholly deserve.

Ah gag me with a freakin hollister sock. All this guys fans are hollister wearing losers that will do ANYTHING to be on the "cool...no one knows about it" crowd...they are trying so hard...stupid frat guys that take they're rascal flatts and Pat Green "Cannonball" cd out to put in this crap. I want you all to know that if this is whatyou want people to know Texas by....if this...Eli Young..Pat Green stuff...is it...if that is Texas music I will never say I'm a Texas music fan ever again...man didn't think I'd ever say that...look what we've become...God bless Chris Knight and Old Crow Medicine Show...oh and Robert Earl Keen..oh...and people that don't like this crap!! Huge EYB Fan. Not a fan of Rascal Flatts. I see the comparison being the Eli Young Band will make a very big impression on the music world but EYB is so much better than that. EYB writes their stuff and their stuff kicks Rascal Faggs butt!

This band will be the next Rascal Flatts- crossing over to many genres. The live at the Jolly Fox is a great culmination of their collective talents showcased to a live venue- While at times the crowd noise is a little overwhelming it shows the energy of their obviously devoted fanbase. I have become a fan and while Pat Green may be a personal friend he understands the fact that Texas music is a genre of its own. And this band will be opening soon for bigger acts before going on their own. I give the album a 5 star for the lyrical rythms and talents of the band members.

This is a great album! I've had this CD in my player for 2 weeks straight! There is not a bad song on it. I saw them in Knoxville last week and the show was outstanding even though our crowd sucked. I hope they find more success in Tennessee cause they deserve it.
