Deluxe CD/DVD edition. 2014 live release from the rockin' Country singer/songwriter. Jackson Taylor is a storyteller, plain and simple. He combines his real life experiences with old school Country elements and throws in the flavors of Punk and Southern Rock to create a style all his own. Jackson Taylor continues to break the rules of traditional Country music with his straightforward lyrics, ''take it or leave it''

approach, intense live performances, and the drive and determination of a freight train. Recorded in July of 2013, Jackson Taylor & the Sinners became the 45th artist/band to join the LIVE AT BILLY BOB'S TEXAS music series. In keeping with the originality of Jackson Taylor & the Sinners, the band recorded their LIVE AT BILLY BOB'S TEXAS CD and DVD at midnight from 81 Club, a new Billy Bob's Texas venue just steps from the club.

The CD and DVD captures the true essence of the Sinners and provides a front row seat to the rowdy and raucous live show that you can relive again and again.

And me....I'm kinda vain.
Yeah he can't be talking about one of the other 4 cd's by Jackson Taylor that cost 13.99. It's just too logical.

I have known this guy since he got kicked out of Davis High School in the 11th grade. He was just as much trouble then. It is good to see some people don't change; by the looks of some of these reviews he is still a hand full. Love what you are doing Jackson (Mike). Get your crazy ass back to Yakima and do a show! It has gotten boring since you moved away. When the hell did your voise get so deep. I geuss it has been allot of years. I am going bald. Time flys. C

Wow, you guys are really going at it and whomever said bad press is better than none in this thread certainly made a valid point here. I happened to be perusing for a specific artist and hit the wrong name on the scroll which landed me here on Jackson Taylor's page. I normally would have kept on going but the length and number of reviews caught my eye and curiosity got the best of me enough to make me want to listen to the music and judge for myself. I don't know anything about this guy's social graces or lack thereof but I have to say honestly and objectively that this guy has one of those quintessential country voices that you rarely hear these days. It sounds so natural - not forced like so many out there today. I have never heard him live or seen him drunk, of course, but in fairness to all artists on this site, I thought this review space is meant to give music lovers a place to comment and share opinions on the music sold here and not a place to come and post such emotional and personal reactions based upon an artists' perceived character. This guy could be a real ass for all I know (Mozart, I understand was an oversexed buffoon and so what?!) but I think the songs on this CD are sincere and lyrics are fresh and honest. It would be really tough not to recognize that he has an amazing voice. Funny thing is that all of this negative ranting has actually proven to be profitable for this guy many of you (or one of you) loves to hate. Did you ever think you may have inadvertently played right into some grand scheme? hmmm... In any case, I thank you for the new find. I will buy this CD, for sure; although I probably would not invite Jackson Taylor over for a nice family dinner - just to be on the safe side, of course.

wrong, wrong, wrong below this - talk to him at a show. He is a cool guy that loves playing music. Someone is buying it, if not you that is fine - go listen to something else.

I guess lud needs to know more about a person before they start talking. If so he would know that waylon was known as an outlaw not just because of his music but of his self destrutive personality and the things he did in his past. waylon was a great artist but the whole term outlaw came from who he was. just ask billy joe about the bar and dynamite story. it just if u think different, go check you tube or just read alittle before you run your mouth. the problem is people these days can't handle some one like jackson, because he is what he is. The one everyone loves to hate. And thats that. Whats the deal with the cowards on this site. Running your mouth and then not showing who u are. This is the first and last conversation on this subject. sam

This stuff is just plain embarrassing. There is nothing original or exciting going on with the music or songwriting. This would not be such an issue if it were not for the self-delusional ‘I’m an Outlaw’ mentality. It reduces the music down to a bone headed fashion accessory, right along with the tattoos and chain drive wallet. Waylon never had to tell anyone how tough he was. He was considered an outlaw because he was a progressive artist, taking control of his own music and recording the songs he wanted to, from the Beatles to Stevie Nicks. However, nowadays we have ‘artists’ like Jackson Taylor who, lacking an original identity of their own, try to ride on the coattails of another artists marketing...30 some years after the fact. Save your money. If you listen close enough, you can hear Ronnie Van Zandt roaring with laughter.
