It seems to have been written in the proverbial stars that Johnny Cooper would dedicate his life to performing and entertaining crowds. Since birth, Cooper has been immersed in music of all kinds, and encouraged to pursue his dream. He started performing music in February 2004 at the age of 15 and turning 24 in September 2012, he will have chalked up almost 9 years of professional touring.
Johnny Cooper has accomplished more than many musicians twice his age. Having recorded two critically-acclaimed, full-length studio albums (and another in the works) and not one, but two live albums under his belt – the total album sales of which have eclipsed 50,000 – Johnny Cooper’s career trajectory cannot be stopped. He recently had two songs included on the soundtrack for the independent movie, “Deep in the Heart,” which also includes tracks from Charlie Daniels, Larry Gatlin, Wade Bowen, and others.
Gifted with a rich emotive voice that illuminates his lyrics, Cooper says that each album “is another chapter of my life, every song is a short snippet of all the things I have encountered over the years, good times... bad times... and everything in between. I believe the music has evolved because I have evolved... the older you get, the less and less you are scared to try new things, branch out and test your limits.”

I was blown away when I first heard Live at The Pub-I couldn't believe the someone so young could be so talented, but then I got Ignition and I was amazed yet again! Not only is Johnny Cooper a real talent he is a great person and anyone who gets this cd will not be disappointed. To Johnny and the Cooper Clan....we love you guys! Keep Rockin'

I just got Ignition in the mail two days ago and I LOVE IT!!!! Johnny is a great musician and oozes talent. The CD is great, not a bad song on there. All are well written and just awesome. Great job Johnny! Keep on Rocking!

"Ignition" has been in my CD player since we received it. This album has become one of mine and my daughter Chloe's favorite CD's to listen to while riding in the car. Johnny Cooper is far beyond his years in talent. It is unbelievable that a young man has this much talent. I highly recommend "Ignition".

I think Johnny Cooper is way beyond his years with his musical abilities. I have never heard 1 song by Johnny on Radio Free Texas that is not exceptional. We love our Texas Red Dirt musicians and anyone that has a problem with JC should put your crack pipe down for awhile. We heart Johnny!!

having been in the scene long enough, you realize who's got talent, and who doesn't. johnny cooper HAS TALENT! he is a very gifted songwriter, and his vocal range is amazing. i cannot wait to see what will happen to johnny in the next few years, i know some of the material for the next cd is amazing (cause i have heard it, and i was there for one of the song writing inspired moments on one of his new songs). keep an eye and an ear out for johnny cooper, because we will be seeing him one day playing to a huge crowd of people that actually appreciate his wonderful talent and ability!

Well Well!! What is there to say, there isn't exactly a word that can explain how Johnny's personality, music, and sense of humor can touch someonen more than his does! Johnny is all natural, ok maybe not exaclty ALL natural but you know what I mean! People who don't appreciate some of the best Red Dirt artist need some serious help! If you don't like them, keep it to yourself, cuz that's your problem and not ours! Well I gotta get back to work! PEYCE OUT
