The whole cd is awesome, The Captain is already one of my all time favorites. Got to mention...these guys are just as hot as they sound, too. Let's just say, i wouldn't mind @ all ending up shipwrecked on a deserted island with legends like this.If OUTLAW COUNTRY is running ammuck, and stealing hearts now, The Captain Legendary Band would certainly be the one to blame!
Saw these guys live in New Orleans and again the next day in Baton Rouge. As a Texas native, I don't get to hear good old Texas red dirt music very often. These guys really rocked the place. I bought both CDs, love them both and can't wait until they come our way again
this band sucks at thier best. is
Love the lyrics on this album. Texas originals all the way.
Saw these guys at the Rowdy Float Trip in New Braunfels. Had to have both CDs and have nearly worn them out. Great lyrics and talented musicians.
The CLB 's follow-up to their 04 debut clearly displays the band's growth from a first-rate party band into the skilled lyricists and musicians they are today. Make no mistake about it, the CLB can still crank up the good times with the best of them, but the band's added depth is obvious on MSG. CLB fans will recognize several of the songs, such as Brianna, Back In Texas from their live shows, but there are also gems that few, if any CLB fans have heard before. In The Stars and Lost in Song are two such tracks, and both have me turning the volume knob clockwise and singing along. Some fellow CLB enthusiasts asked me why I only have Those Songs a 4-star rating, but my reasoning has proved sound. As good as that album was, the boys had an even better record in them. Their 5-star effort, My Saving Grace!
This is a great sample of Texas originals. Saw these guys live and had to have their album.
This CD has barely left my player since I got it. Filled with great songs, definitely worth buying. I would recommend it to anyone looking for real Texas music. Also, the guys put on a great show.
ccf sez, this one is high school crap, gee , these guys have talent, grow up, shock crap is just that , crap, trash this one,
, great talent,, vocals and music are pure Texas, lyrics are a little sophmoric, tooooooo many drinkn songs, its way overdone . some maturity and these guys will be a force for the future, buy this one for the few pearls that are unique to this
