You guys are awesome...I love your music and how you are real on stage and off stage...their needs to be more bands like that...and for the record BLOW...maybe you are the Arrogant one...do you evn know these guys? Well, I do and they are amazing and the lead singer is far from arrogant...I would like to say he is confident and he does not treat the other band members like crap...they were friends before the band even started! They are only a couple years old and their flaws will only get better as time goes on! Everyone should buy this CD...Texas High Life is the next big thing...KCB will be missed!

I must say that you guys are one one my favorite artist, so my comments are one sided. That being said, I found out this week how real you guys are as I attended the funeral for your drummer, Keith. Not only was I taken back by the music that you performed, as it was so approiate and touching, but I found out for myself, how real and humble your lead singer really is. While everyone has a right to their own opinion, I found out for myself what you guys are really all about and I like it. Real people and great music!. Please don't stop, as you have fans that can't wait for the next journey of your band.

Couldn't agree more Blow... A band is supposed to be a band, not the front guy with "his" band.

It is one thing to give a constructive opinion, but why are you bashing the lead singer. How does that relate to the quality of the music? When he introduces the members did you catch the part about the band members being his best friends? By the way, he mentions that every time they play a show. If you knew the band members, which it is obvious that you do not, you would be aware of their very close friendships. The word arrogant makes me laugh, because I must say your review is extremely arrogant. This is a young band and they are learning all the time. I have been following them for over a year and I am very impresed with how they have grown as musicians. The lead singers vocals continue to impress me and his projection and tone are right on. The harmonies continue to get stronger as they gain confidence. This is a band that loves to experiment and is very willing to break the cookie cutter mold. They are constantly being complmented by other artists in their genre, because they do step outside the box. I think you see this band through rose colored glasses. In other words it is quite distorted, because you are fixating on a preceived notion of arrogance.

Prof., I'm glad that is what you wanted. And it is true, negative attention is still attention. Carmen. This is exactly why people use an alias on this thing; if one is honest, they're bound to be crucified. Furthermore, if one is involved in the business (hint hint), they're even more likely to be crucified. No matter the alias, and no matter the nature of opinion, the truth still stands that these guys need a lot of work, and my last post said it constructively like it is. Merely telling me that these guys are doing what they love doesn't change a thing. Five year olds love T-ball, but are they any good at it? No. Are these guys doing what they love? Yes. Are they doing it well? No. Are they doing it with a good ethos? No, well at least the lead singer is not. And for those not close to the band, like myself, his behaviour, mannerisms, and reference to the band as "his drummer" or "his bass player" is unprofessional and arrogant. It wouldn't be so irritating if the lead singer didn't pretend that he had nothing to learn. Modesty goes a long way in this business. The band is nice, and I like the couple of guys that I've met. But that doesn't mean they don't have a long way to go. P.S. I'm right about the redone vocals, aren't I?

Everyone can form their own opinions, but it is your own, so be sure to check out THL and find out for yourself what they are all about. You guys sound great to me and it is obvious you have passion for the music. Keep doing what you love!

I certainly won’t criticize you for your opinion “Blow.” Your new review is precisely what I asked for. It offers me an explanation as I attempt to determine if I would enjoy the music of this band. If I have no exposure to a certain artist, I will typically keep an open mind regardless of the reviews anyway. Also, if all the reviews on the site were positive, then there would be little reason to read them. By the way, just using the term ad hominem made the review worthwhile. Carmen, realize that sometimes even negative reviews will end up drawing attention, which can result in more and more positive exposure. For instance, now I’m rather intrigued and want to draw my own conclusions.

Blow, uncalled for. These are good aspiring musicians. No need for you to chop at their dreams for your own desire to feel cool. You are no critic. It's easy to give criticism behind a fake name. Before you come in bashing all those that rub you the wrong way, lets try to remember that these guys are trying to do what they love. I think they are prety good at it. You must be pretty close to the band to make an assumption that the lead singer is arrogant. I don't know the band and i've never had that impression of him. Everyone else, listen to THL for yourself before you listen to some dude behind an alias.
