I know what you mean! I saw them play in Abilene a few weeks ago and they sucked! Josh Abbott Band opened and had the crowd pumped up but about 3 songs into Bart's set everyone left the dance floor! Nice guys but bad music

both albums are amazing... desperate hearts is my favorite one, it has more of a rock mentality and the sound quality is better for some reason. i love the new cut of driftin' in the wind. amazingly done. hell,i've been on stage with bart crow band in mckinney texas, their shows are definitely kick ass....

I saw Bart Crow's band last night at Cheatham Street Warehouse, and I must say I was thoroughly disappointed. The band sounded very tight and the rhythms were good, but the lyrics were well below average. It was too bad that the 3 songwriters that openned the show couldn't close it down because they were more talented. For a band with a considerably good following already I expected to hear something much better than what Bart Crow had to offer. The songwriting was simply not up to par with the vast level of talented songwriters we have in the Texas scene right now. For those that may think it uncool to write such a negative review, I must ask what good is a review board like this one if people only comment on music they like. That would only amount to a review board that doesn't really serve much practical purpose.

Awesome group of guys. "Mustache Mafia" For Life I grew one just because I saw them in Austin at the Midnight Rodeo. Those mustaches are great!!! Keep on rocking!! LIVIN

I just started listening to the new cd about four days ago and i already love it! this stuff is great! only like one song i skip over. The new version of 'driftin in the wind' is really cool, and i don't know which one i like better. You guys totally rock, and you should know you got a big fan in central illinois!
