The Cold Hard Truth
This is the most underrated album I've ever heard! It has quickly became one of my favorite albums. This album shows just how talented this unknown musican is. I would how this CD gets him more respect. Ed is country, and not afraid to show it! "The Can" and "All Bucked Up" are the highlights but every track is great! Very tradional country music the way it should be.

Live at The Sons
This album is dynamic! There's not a bad track here. A fine live recording. Listening to this I wonder why Ed is not a huge star. I would hope to see Ed record many of these songs in a studio since he wrote a majority of the tracks. He did a fine job at that too. The cover songs are great too. "Rainy Day Woman" would make Waylon proud. The highlights for me were "A-11" "Big Mammou" and "Rodeo Song". Look for the hidden track at the end too. If you like tradional country music with lots of pedal steel and twin fiddles, I highly suggest this album!

I've always loved Ed. His songs are well written and they actually are country music. Every Ed concert is a celebration of our roots, our pains, and our bright future. You just can't go away from a song without a smile on your face. I appreciate you Ed! Wide Open Spaces and My Perfect World are the best albums.

There is a reason Mr Doug Sahm the Tex Mex King himself picked Ed as the 1st artist for his 1st & last label TORNADO Records. Ed Burleson is real deal and very talented, i don't buy too many "new" cd's but Ed Burleson, Dale Watson, Tommy Alverson and Gary Nunn are so darn consistent you can't go wrong with these guys!!!

Every time I think I need to a good honky-tonk fix I just choose between something my Daddy raised me on or an Ed CD. I picked up a copy of the "Cold hard Truth" at the Larry Joe Taylor festival and Ed..you have outdone yourself!!! Please turn out an CD at least once a year since I will have worn this one out within a couple of months! Keep up the great work!
