I am not going to give you a line of bs. This band is the real deal. I am way more into this album than I ever thought I would be. There is one reason why - ORIGINALITY. They are doing somethimng fun and different and in the cookie-cutter world of TX music, this is a change for the better. Just a flat-out amazing sound. If they ever toured with Trent Summar, it would be trouble. Good stuff.
These gys are amazing. Bought this CD and saw them live at KHYI's TMR 11 and they are the best. Great in the studio, but the energy they show on stage makes them shine.
Had these guys play at my 40th birthday party. A real treat for many of my South Texas friends who had not ever seen them live. This was a night I will never forget. A big thanks to Kevin, Chris, Dennis, and Rick. Also, great show at the Backporch in Port A on Nov. 3.
GREAT DVD. AS CLOSE TO THE BAND AS YOU CAN GET WITHOUT PERFORMING WITH THEM. THE DVD SHOWCASES THE TALENT OF THESE DEDICATED MUSICIANS, AND BRINGS IT HOME TO YOUR LIVING ROOM.
Excellent! The DVD shows the intensity of Two Ton Tuesdays @ Gruene Hall, and the crowd is fantastic!
The audio CD is great, too, and features a different set of songs than the DVD.
Two Tons!
Two Tons is by far the sweetest guys out there. I had a special request when they were in Corpus Christi. Texas. I asked if they could play "You Know" for my boyfriend. With no questions asked, they made him feel like a star. They not only dedicated the song to him, they gave him a CD and let me take pictures of him and the band wearing the guitar, and signing drum sticks for him. They are good people. If you have the chance to see them, DO. They are worth it. Just remember to holler "TWO TONS"!!!
To see them live is truly a trip to being completly consumed with their breathtaking music,,Kevin can sing ELVIS better than Elvis, takes me back to my joy of music thay I LOVE
Just bought a CD by Two Tons, and it is some of the best music i'v ever heard. Very up-beat with a kind of old fashion twist. Keep on rock'n Two Tons Of Steel.
WOW, these guys are great and so is their new recording. I can't name my favorite song...they're all wonderful tunes. Maybe, a tied between Your Kiss and Havana Moon. Conpared to a lot of other Texas artists, these guys really stand out. I recommend this record to everyone. It lives in my cd player! BUY IT!
Two Tons of Steel is definately one of a kind. Once you've seen these guys perform live, you're sure to be hooked. Glad to see the radio stations are starting to play their music as they deserve the fame that is sure to follow. Good luck guys! You're a class act like none other.
