Texas Outlaws
I agree with every word Ol' Ag said. Whoop I have to say though that the cd did turn me onto Mike McClure with his song Outlaw's prayer.

Heartworn Highways
A must have for any TX music fan. Deeply rich in what TX music stands for. Haven't found the Steve Earle song, "Darlin' Commit Me" anywhere else and it is great. If you want an even deeper appreciation for this collection of music then watch the Heartworn Highways documentary that these songs are compiled from.

Texas Outlaws
This CD is great except for the last song with Lil' Black and Willie Nelson. Anyone with "Lil'" in his name should not be allowed on a Texas/Americana/Country CD at all. (And no, I don't mean Little Jimmy Dickens or anyone like that - his is spelled out!) I would've given this 5 stars but that last song made me drop it down to 4. Like Good Ol' Ag says - that track really is out of place on this CD and I'm very disappointed they even thought about including it with the other songs! It just doesn't flow at all. Other than that, all other tracks are great!

Plain awesome. I was at at a few of the concerts and they were great in person, and this CD captures that. Excellent collection of Texas/Red Dirt artists here and their hits.

Restless Spirit: Tribute to Bob Childers
Great Set... bought 2 for Christmas presents and are going over awesome. If you like Red Dirt or original music, don't miss this one! Bob is phenomenal as a songwriter and these tracks prove that. Check out Restless Spirits, Mexican Morning, Back to You, Whiskey Avenue and Woody's Road.

Restless Spirit: Tribute to Bob Childers
This is a great set! It is an awesome collection of Bob Childers' music as well as a showcase of those artists who know and love him! I especially like the tracks 17, 29, 30 & 57. You have to get his set!

Artist Review
Easy to understand why Texas is the incubator for good Country and Western Music. This album definitely proves that. Great artist, great atomosphere, great company. Only in Fort Worth Texas and only on the Ranch.

One hot CD from plenty of hot summer nights. This CD is just like The Ranch; Raw and Ready. I think this is and should be a live Texas Music postcard. I'm glad I have it in my collection. Screw you,we're from Texas.

Close your eyes, you're sitting on the BEST patio in Fort Worth, listening to the Best in Texas Music...that's what you'll hear on this GREAT LIVE CD. Give it to friend, they'll probably buy you a beer at the "Texas Music Series" next year.
