Great album! I was there for almost all of the 8.0 concerts, and had a blast! This CD comes close to capturing the summer night parties I love!

I agree with AH the song selection is great, but the quality of the recording is not good at all. I turn the radio when the Ranch plays one of the songs.

All 18 songs of this album are excellent. I think the sound quality is superb as well as the mix of artists. Congrats to "The Ranch" (I wish you would come to Georgia).

The song selection is great, but the recording quality is not very good. I realize that it is a live recording, and some of these songs are on my favorite list, but I can barely listen to them on this cd because they sound terrible. This could've been a great cd, if only it were more polished.

Red Dirt Sampler Vol. 2
Compilations usually bore me but this one rocks...buy it (don't burn it) and support the Woody Guthrie Coalition - Woody was the original Red Dirt artist!

Red Dirt Sampler Vol. 2
This disc is a must for fans of Red Dirt, Woody Guthrie, or just fine narrative songwriting...
