Nathan and No Deal continue to progress. Their 30 January show at Floore's highlighted Nathan's superb lyrics again establishing him as one of the foremost balladiers in todays music scene. As opposed to most ballad singers his music is hard driving country rock reminiscent of the Marshall Tucker Band. Billy accentuated these working class hero songs with guitar playing which can be a demonstratively and accoustically angry as Peter Townsend, but in the next tune display the pain of an Eric Clapton, and sensitivity of a Stevie Ray Vaughan. The rhythm provided by Chep and Mark seal the deal as No deal has become tighter more complete and definitely focused. A band on the verge of greatness. Catch them soon!!!!

I fell in love with Nathan's music when I first saw him at Kerrville Folk Festival back in 199? (I forget the year). Smooth, soulful lyrics with precise acoustic guitar. He hit a deep note with "Farmers Rest". I really appreciate his ability to touch the heart.

Superb!!! An unbelievable combination of lyric combined with cutting edge musical talent. The guitar work from Nathan and Billy is escalating to rival the greatest of Texas guitar duo's. The band is tight has not been off when I've seen them!!! don't miss a performance!

My wife and I caught Nathan Hamilton and No Deal at Gruene Hall on Sunday, June 29th. Light crowd......what a break from the usual crowd. Had a ball jam'n to the tunes, boot scoot'n, and drink'n a cold Shiner Bock. Talked with the band after the set and bought the CD. I played it the whole way to the Frio River and back to Kingwood. Luv'm.

From your friends in NEW MEXICO, we love the music and keep it coming. I used to go down to The Club in Las Cruces and catch the shows there, my wife and I saw you playing acoustic solo over at the Borders bookstore in Albuquerque. Come back soon, I'm buying the next round.
