What a joke! Tour dates, no web site... What has happened to this unreal person? He's lost it & knows it. He has taken his final fall! Everyone that comments are women. What's up with that? Men don't find him BS because he tries to sweep their lovers off their feet with his faulse personality!

Why aren't there any tour dates listed? Is DD still doing shows?

I have seen DD several times. He is best when he is solo with a guitar. He is personable and a lot of fun. He is someone I can take my young kids to see (depending on venue). I was also raised in Comanche County - GUSTINE! I did not know DD then. Wish I had!

I don't listen to this, but I knew DD in high school (and elementary for that matter) and he's a real nice guy. Seriously!

Live At Billy Bob's
I bought this album recently and I would have to say that this is one of the best Live at Billy Bob's albums I have ever heard.

Artist Review
Full Circle, Double D's latest offering, is but another link in the making of a country music legend. While Nashville pop continues to stray, Mr. Dodd continues to crank 'em, blinded by the neon lights of his honky-tonkin predecessors, and true to his convictions. Wearin a Hole and It's Only Cause Your Lonely will get your foot to pattin and put a spring in your step even if you can't dance a lick. Thanks to the Man, Feels Like Home to Me, Solid Ground, and Someone is Waiting for Me gives the listener a peek into the soul of the artist. That's the Stuff I'm Made Of, a catchy duo with Jack Ingram, resonates a common thread found in Mr. Dodd's work wherein he relies on a simple Comanche, Texas background as his barometer in dealing with life’s situations. If you can listen to I'm Not Home Right Now without getting a big lump in your throat, then you've never cared for someone more than yourself. It's the first single released from Full Circle and destined to be a classic. You won’t listen to this CD very long without swearin DD’s been reading your mail because he’ll be singin what you’re feelin, and you’ll wonder how he knew. This guy writes and sings because that’s what he was put here to do. What you see is what you get with Deryl Dodd, and you won’t be disappointed with Full Circle. If you're already a DD fan, you've come to expect what you hear in Full Circle, and if this is your first exposure to Mr. Dodd's music and you find yourself overwhelmed and in awe, welcome to the club. You'll discover that Deryl Dodd sings each and every song with the same passion and enthusiasm as if it’s an encore performance at the Grand Ol’ Opry. If it weren't for the Deryl Dodd's of this era, and their uncompromising efforts to carry the torch, hard-core honky-tonk country music would go the way of the buffalo. Thanks to Mr. Dodd’s Full Circle, it ain’t done yet.

I saw him at the Fayette County Fair, and I was very, very, very impressed. He was soooo personable on stage that it made the concert fun. After the show, he commented that he saw me and my friend out in the crowds, and that he was luck to have such entusiastic fans. I got a picture taken with him (I must say he is not a bad looking fellow), and I also got a ball cap signed. I must say, I will NEVER EVER EVER forget that concert. I encourage all Texas Music fans to try to attend a Deryl Dodd concert.
