Have all of Brandon's discs and this one kills! I love it, definitely his finest work.
Met the man 3 years ago and have been a devoted, not a fair weather, fan. I dont listen to him for his political opinions, but he wants to throw them out there, it's his right! I love the new album Brothers of The Dirt and his ideas about the brotherhood and the comeraudory(sp?) are what make this album special. If you dont have this album, order one now or better yet, come see him live! They are just three guys up there with some wood!
I hate when these artist go politico , and the cd starts out with "blood for oil" , so if all these artists are against this kinda oil consumption they should trade in their big diesel buses for bicycles or something "green".
Not comparable to his previous albums. It sounds like he is trying to do to much with this one. However you might like it so give it a try,..it's just not for me...
Don't skip this one folks. Brandon's music and songwriting is always new, unpredictable, enjoyable and even provacative... White Van Blues..Brandon and Stoney rock! I love all these artists
Man I'm not really feelin this one so far, I gave it a third and fourth spin and I got to be honest, the songwriting by (Brandon Jenkins) is poor and the vocals of cody canada, randy rogers, jason boland, and stoney dont sound that great at all on the record, the best song is the one with mike mcclure because his vocals steal the song, it was such a great idea for a record but what a disappointment because I expected so much more so skip this one
Brandon Jenkins is amazing! I had the opportunity to see him perform last month and i am positive there will be nothing but good things coming his way. His voice and his lyrics are awesome!! I purchased two of his CD's that night.
Brandon Jenkins, you don't have a freaking clue do you? I just heard your new single "Blood for Oil" and it's confirmed that you are an idiot. To you and the rest of musicians: Leave the politics out of the music and stick to pure entertainment. Or get off the radio.
This is an amazing CD. I love the sound. Faster than a Stone is a great song and I love Probably Die Alone. This CD has a unique sound of rock and blues.
