I had the opportunity to see Brandon perform live in OKC from the stage of a smokey little bar. It was him and his guitar alone, his tone and the lyrics were just incredible. I'm a big fan. His sound is deep and haunting. A great addition for any Texas Country music listener out there.

Brandon is one of the best on the scene right now. Just give him time and he will be as big as the rest of them. We do not go to your office and tell you to do your job differently, let him do it the way he wants. Check out Keith Urban for non personal music.

Sarge your an idiot. It's not the F bomb, its the fact that Jenkins is a hypocrite. I heard him say its about redemption too. It's obviously not. Stupid word for such a good song.

Not only does Brandon cuss, he rolls joints on the Bible! He's definitely gonna burn in Hell for eternity, with not hope for redemption, but only because God loves him. LOL

And your right... I do like the F word. In fact a F***ING LOVE IT. But I'm not going to listen to an Eminem CD to hear it...I'm gonna listen to Finger on the Trigger.

Like I said, if you can't get over the profanity your gonna go through life a lot more pissed off than the rest of us, which you obviously are. And changing one's own lyrics just to keep you pissed off people happy isn't what this style of music is about. And from a religious stand point, nearly every artist involved in the current red-dirt/Texas-country movement are very religious. And nearly every one of them drink, smoke, and cuss. Don't let a word blind you from the message.

Don't give me that b.s. about writing from "raw emotions". That doesn't mean you have to use such strong profanity. If your truly creative you can get around it. That's why I think Jenkins should use better words because he is SO creative and talented he shouldn't stoop to that level. Especially when he said on "The Front Porch Show" it was about getting right with God. Don't be a Hypocrite. And by the way Sarge, if you knew me you would know I would never buy any Keith Urban crap. But if you you like the F word in songs so much why don't you buy an Eminem CD. Or you can go to New York and listen to your Yankee lyrics there. Ohh and offended isn't spelled with an A.
