Drew Womack
Album Review
Being familiar with Drew's music, I anxiously awaited this arrival. Drew's talent with songwriting coupled with his pure voice has produced a solo debut that is a must have! This CD is a showcase reflecting Drew's diverse talents. From toe tapping, sing along love songs like "Hey Daisy", to rockin' tunes like "Premium Gasoline", with haunting ballads ("Leaving October", "Tearin it up Tonight") and light hearted fun ("Fine Art of Failure"). This is one of the few, "put it in and press play, no need to search" CDs out there. I strongly recommend getting at least two copies of this CD. It wan't be long until you wear out the first one! Enjoy!

Big Sons of the Desert fan due to this guys voice. I saw the show a while back at Antone's when he opened up for Chris Knight. Drew should've played the whole night. Strong work Drew !! I truely recommend buying his albums and especially seeing him live.

I'd never even heard of this guy until the other day. I really enjoyed it. I think Drew's got a great future. I'll catch the next Dallas show for sure.

I had never heard of Drew Womack until very recently. It was really only by coincidence that I saw the band at all. My band and I walked into Saengerhalle recently to drop off a press packet, and just happened to walk in on their sound check. We were only there for about five minutes (Reckless was playing at Gruene), but we almost stayed to see the whole show. Drew's voice was so clear and strong. The few songs that I heard were catchy and cleverly writen. I was impressed and hope I get a chance to see his show in its entirety soon. Good luck.

Album Review
Any Sons of the Desert fans looking for fresh material from this former lead singer will likely be dissapointed. While there are a few good tracks (fastest way to tx, hey daisy) many are not quite what one would expect from an artist of this caliber. The most dissapointing however is surely Leaving October, a 'sure-to-make-you-cry'ballad as a "sons" song, this version leaves a lot to be desired.Hopefully the full length album will be composed of less "sons songs that didn't make it" and more songs that showcase this texan's stellar voice.

This is a great teaser for bigger things to come from this great artist. His voice is incredible! I saw him by accident as he was opening for a well known artist, and he stole the show. This EP is excellent. I can't wait for more!!!
