Artist Review
I have been a huge fan of Drew's since Sons of the Desert. "Change" is one of my favorite albums. I loved this recent set of songs. I'm glad he's got some new stuff out there. He is a true gem.

Run don't walk to this show. These guys are incredible. The songs, the harmonies, it's mind blowing. The EP doesn't do the live show justice - (and you don't get to see the good looking guys on stage). I've never heard of Sons of the Desert, but I think Drew Womack will make a name for himself!

Judging by this cd, I will buy his full solo cd when it's released this spring! Drew's voice is just amazing! I'm a HUGE Sons fan and miss hearing them. Wish I had enough $$ to fly to Texas and see his shows. I saw Sons once a few years back and was blown away by Drew's voice. I hope he gets all the recognition he deserves.

An absolute "must-have" for any true Sons of the Desert / Drew Womack fan. Simply an example of the best Texas has to offer. Refreshing to hear and enjoy natural song-writing and musical talent. Drew, keep it up, my friend.

What can I say? Drew's voice is powerful and magnetic. On this EP, I especially love Fastest Way to Texas (great TX song), Deep Water Faith and Carry Me. His voice is like no other -- really-- you can mistake him for anyone else. I have been a devoted follower since I first heard him sing a note. I am/was a huge fan of Sons of the Desert. I'm trying to get over the idea of never hearing/seeing that band and those harmonies again but it's very hard. :( I will do anything I can do to support Drew in his efforts to remain a viable artist. If his coming back to TX is the best way to do that then I wish him the best. (And it means I get to catch more shows) He deserves much success and happiness because he's brought happiness to so many fans. I can't wait for a full CD from Drew. I'd truly pay money to hear him sing the alphabet. Recently saw him at Midnight Rodeo, Katy. Catch him performing live anywhere you can! Devoted Katy TX fan

Well allright! Great to see and hear some real quality songwriting for the sake of the SONG. They say the cream rises to the top. It's easy to see why Drew is hittin so hard right outta the gate on the Texas music circuit. I remember the Sons of the Desert, and they were pretty damn good in their own right. It's no surprise that Drews solo stuff is just as great. (b.t.w. are the "Sons" now defunct?)There's great variety in the live set. Nice tender ballads with some good ol honkey tonk stuff... acoustic songs and even covers that you don't usually hear everyone else doing. He's got the songs, the voice and the stage presence to make you listen. and if I'm not mistaken that's some of Dub Millers old boys in the band... rock on boys. ALL Y'ALL! and to everyone else go see this band... you'll like 'em

Album Review
Finally something different from a Texas artist. Lyle and Radney, help has arrived. Heard the band live at Midnight Rodeo (Austin) and wish they could open up (first act) forever. Too old to stay up and wait for the headliner. Buy the EP. You'll see what I'm talking about.
