After hearing "Lone Star Attitude" on the radio, I ordered the CD. It's been living in my CD player ever since. I knew Jon Christopher Davis had an awesome voice, but I had no idea he was such a great songwriter. The fact that he writes with Rodney Crowell, Radney Foster and Stan Lynch from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, says it all. It's only a matter of time before this guy's a huge star.
If you haven't seen or heard this one yet, you are missing out. Jon is a wonderful songwriter, and all around great person. He will be one that I will always buy his cd's and will always make an effort to go see in person!
Not only does he have a great voice, this Texas boy is one hell of a nice guy! Every song on the CD is good; his voice will blow you away, but it's his excellent song-writing ability that will keep you a fan for life. Buy this CD; you won't be dissapointed.
Incredible voice and energy. Women are just gunna love his "Baby Looks Good on You". I saw him at Texas Music Theater in Waxahachie, TX - opened for Radney Foster... CD's in my car!
Jon Christopher Davis - "Lone Star Attitude"
This Texan has moved back to the Lone Star State and released one fantastic CD, "Lone Star Attitude." Jon Christopher is a terrific singer/songwriter/producer and has written songs that have been recorded by Hal Ketchum, Sherrie Austin, Dolly Parton, Tammy Cochran, Billy Ray Cyrus and many more. The title cut, "Lone Star Attitude" says it all! Make sure you check out the well written "Bottom Line" (you will love it!) plus "Love Had Something Else In Mind" and the song he wrote for his wife, "Baby Looks Good On You.” Every track is a winner! Jon Christopher Davis is the complete real deal…great music, songwriting, and vocals.

I recently saw Jon Christopher Davis open for Rodney Crowell at Gruene Hall. I was blown away by his voice, songs and musicianship. This guy's the real deal. Don't let his good looks fool you. His "Lone Star Attitude" CD is awesome! Every song kicks ass! My favorite is "The Bottom Line." All in all, I highly reccomend this CD. You can't go wrong.
