From the smoke filled bar rooms to the big stages, the Brett Hendrix Band puts on an electrifying and energetic show every time they hit the stage . Hailing from Lorena, Texas, just south of Waco, this group of young musicians brings an entertaining and powerful performance every night they are on stage.

Brett Hendrix Band is a Texas Country, Country, Blues, and Southern Rock band from Lorena/Waco, Texas. Brett began teaching himself to play guitar at the age of nine. With the influence of music from his father and brother, his spark for music came alive shortly after he started playing. By age 12 he was playing on talent stages and sitting in with the bands his brother played with all around Central Texas. At age 14, Brett along with a few others formed the Brett Hendrix Band. Since the band formed in 2009, Brett has taken the band across Texas and Oklahoma. Brett now attends Stephen F. Austin State University and still plays whenever possible. Currently the band consist of Brett Hendrix on guitar and vocals, Truett Teague on Bass and vocals, and Brett's brother, Chance Hendrix on drums and vocals. Guest guitarist Kenny Zink plays with the band on occasion.

The band started out mainly as a blues band but transitioned into a Texas country band with a blues background. Brett's writing style had much to do with the country transition, but his guitar playing kept the blues influence. The band plays everything for Merle Haggard and Gary Stewart to Stevie Ray Vaughn and Lynyrd Skynyrd, as well as original material.

The band has shared the stage with the likes of Chris Young, Lee Brice, Clint Black, Earl Thomas Conley, David Ball, and Doug Stone. As well as Texas Country artist Cory Morrow, Brandon Rhyder, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Ryan Beaver, Mark McKinney, Seth James, and Cody Canada and the Departed to name a few. The band "loves" what they do, has fun doing it, and will make sure that your time with them is enjoyable to the fullest extent. The band has won many awards and contest in the Central Texas area and is a "Locals Love Us" favorite band for Central Texas.
