Some people are just demented. Some of them write songs. This is always a dangerous combination, but in the case of Doc Wesson, it's a side-splitting CD which results. Wesson offers "TACKY TUNES FROM TEXAS" and it's eleven cuts of funny business. Doc tells of meeting the love of his life in WalMart on "Discount Love Affair" and takes an abrasively truthful look at condom use in "Safe Sex." A well-produced comedy album with real country talent, this disc is a serious radio jockey's worst nightmare, especially if they accidentally play the 'unrestrained' version of "The Dolly Parton Song." (the radio version is also included) For the late night crowd or the brave program director, this disc has some hilarious cuts like "Too Much Dickle" which I think is my favorite. You'll laugh from the first chorus to the last, and all the while, you'll be enjoying the masterful country voice of Doc Wesson.
