Jeff Frazier is a singer, songwriter and producer and also an environmental and civil rights attorney. Born and raised in Texas, Jeff and his family divide their time between Central Texas and the Galapagos Islands where they have a home and studio. In 2002, Jeff wrote, recorded and produced "Iguanamen of Galapagos", the 1st Cd ever made in Galapagos and then toured Ecuador with Hector Napolitano, Ecuador's greatest living guitarrista. Returning to Texas, Jeff wrote, recorded and produced "Iguanaman's Tulia Texas Review", a series of dark Texas songs that grew out of his involvement in exposing the now notorious Tulia drug bust, the events of 9/11 and the subsequent wars and crackdowns on freedom. Also singing on the CD were Malford Milligan of Storyville fame, Tejano star Ruben Ramos and Seattle's Karen Pernick. Jeff has just finished recording a 3rd CD of true love songs, yet to be named, that will complete the Iguanaman trilogy.

Love it. Very original. Want to hear "any where but here". Where can I find it?

What a bresh of fresh air Jeff is. He's like a happy meal after a long road trip. While his voice leaves a little to be desired, the passion makes the music - I can almost see his harsh upbringing in the slums of Wharton. I also like the fact that he brings in the rythyms and sounds of the Galapagos - is that a walrus I hear? The upcoming love songs CD will be a must have. Keep 'em comin' Jeff!

Well crafted songs that carry the artist's passion yet touch my politically tormented soul. The listener can feel Jeff's self-loathing over the imposed American imperialist brand in the tortured "Bunker Buster," "Deep East," and "No End." But, there is something delicate he conveys through his internal conflict -- perhaps its musician vs. lawyer or celibacy vs. promiscuity which is reflected throughout the album (i.e. "You Never," "Si No," and "Word, Dog") -- the paradoxical lyrics combined with sultry tones and a brash arrogance makes this a must listen for all Texas music lovers. On his next album, I would like to see him bring this personal angst and alcohol-soaked voice to a piano rather than guitar.

I love this guy. Jeff writes from the heart in many of these modern classics. I can hear the wisdom in his voice on songs like "You Never" and "Too Drunk." I'm not sure where he got the inspiration for "Work, Dog," since it doesn't have that same comfortable feeling as some of the others. This album is a must for any Texas-born, laid-back, beer drinkin', man or woman. If you love Willie, Jerry Jeff, or Kinky Friedman, you gotta get this!
