Jessey General Thompson is a 22 year old singer-songwriter from Roff, Oklahoma. He began playing the local music circuit with JAGG. It was in this band he began recording with Mike McClure and Travis Linville. He was playing lead guitar and not yet writing songs. McClure and Thompson became friends and he started recording some of his earliest compositions at the Boohatch Studio in Ada, OK. Over the course of several years Jessey came into his own writing songs and recording. McClure was impressed enough to offer Thompson a deal on 598 Recordings. His self-titled debut album was mixed by Trent Bell (Bell Labs, Chainsaw Kittens) and is set to release in October of 2012.
