Saw these guys in Oklahoma last year. Got there live cd, and it sounds good. Another good Oklahoma band ready to take Texas by storm, in the tradition of the Great Divide, CCR, and Boland. They are part of the new crop of bands, like Stoney, and No Justice

I thought the disc was good. I mean you can tell it is the band's first disc, but the songs are there. And unlike the previous reviewer, I don't think they are trying to be Cross Canadian, they sound more like they are trying to be like Whiskeytown or the Eagles. They would be a good fit to play some shows with Honeybrowne. I would recomend the album to fans of alt/country music.

Unoriginal. Three electric guitars and a drums, boring... These guys try to be Cross Canadian and fail miserably. Shameless namedroppers. I don't care if you know Cody Canada, I know him too but that doesn't make me a good singer.

Marshallcity is as good as it gets when it comes to honest songwriting and a refreshing take on americana. these guys are plain and simple good rock'n'roll with enough country angst to make you a believer. Catch their high energy live shows. Definitely a band on the rise.

The album is a great mix of roots rock/americana and beatles inspired cathcy tunes with rock and country beats and guitar licks. The songs are well written and you can hear the potential this band has. And if you have seen them live, you know they can turn the volume up to 10 and take the songs to another level. Yet another great band coming out of the Oklahoma/Texas music scene. Definetly a CD you want to own and a band you want to go see live whenever you get the chance.
