I like it. Esp. the M. Jones "Fools Holiday". Good stuff. "Comfortably Blue" is a great tune.

First of all, I’ve had the great privilege of knowing Matt since we were kids growing up in Alpine. I remember watching him sing back in our high school days and I knew that he would make it big. His music has always had a unique sound that distinguishes him from other artists. The Nighthawk Affair is full of emotion that has the ability to make you dance, laugh, think, and cry. It has every attribute to help you enjoy that cold beer. Rock on Matt!! Great CD!!!!

I had the pleasure of hearing and singing with this guy at the home of some friends over Thanksgiving, and he is a fine musician as well as a heck of a nice guy. The CD is wonderful, no doubt one of many to follow. What a talent!

Matt is an awesome guy, I love him to death. I love working with him when he performs. Don't forget to buy him a LONE STAR and a shot of tequilla!!!

I like this record better than being kicked in the knee. Reminds me of everything good and pure that the "Texas" sound aspires to. This is for grown-ups, children and bubble-gummers need not apply.

The CD is great...the live show even greater. Matt and Amanda are like hearing a symphony, except it's only them and a guitar! They are also cool people. I will go and see them whenever I can. Inbetween the CD is on in my car 24/7.

First let me say that I am not a fan of the entire "Texas Music" genre, primarily because the vocals for the majority are not all that good. Then along comes Nighthawk Affair. Great vocals, great blend, intelligent and intelligible lyrics...I'm impressed.
