This album is kind of confusing. I really like the songs, they have really good hooks, but the intro's are so incredibly lame that it makes it almost painful. I mean come on, half the songs start off with piano solos or synthesizers, if you ask me, thats just not Texas country. Another thing I don't like about this CD is the way it's mixed, the instrumental sand the vocals bleed into one another way to much, and it makes it hard to make out what bleu is saying sometimes. On top of that, I feel like this just isn't the Bleu I enjoyed before, this album is just very "emo".
ive been a bleu fan since i heard 'good thing' on some am basement radio.
and one thing that i wish i could do, is meet the girl behind these songs, if she's like the one i had-- then she's worth the heartache, cold nights, and empty heart that they always seem to leave....
I,ve been a huge Bleu fan since the first time I saw him live in 2002. This CD is phenomenal! Now people can experience the heart and soul that Bleu puts into everyone of his live shows. Great job!
Wow the best Bleu has ever done. I have bought a lot of cd's this year but this is and will be the best. Bleu found his voice and niche on this cd.
I have loved each and everyone of Bleu's CD's. With that said...this is by far my FFAVORITE Blue's cd ever. All the way from the sound to the lyrics to Bleu's voice. This cd can bring up many emotions when listening to it and to me that is what makes a great cd! Way to go Blue, you have out done yourself with this one my friend. Outstanding job!
I am almost speechless! This is the BEST CD in a long time. The songwriting that Bleu has done on this album seems like he is in my shoes and is singing about my life.
Jesus is Cryin' is my favorite track, and I need forgiving like he sings about in Back to You.
This is just not a typical CD to make money, this is a labor of love, and a CD that will speak to you!
Honestly the best CD I've heard in a long time, the growth it shows is just amazing. The more rock sound and relatable lyrics make it a CD I highly recommend and will listen for a long time coming! Even non country fans should really appreciate the Springsteen vibe Back To You carries.
"ALBUM OF THE YEAR" This is an absolutly brilliant cd, Bleu is awesome. Finally capturing the live sound on record. Tell everyboby they need to buy this one. Not a bad song on it and you gotta love his verson of "Ressurection". Not enough stars for this. In my opion best CD since "Everything Upside Down" Mike McClure
