Michael' Myers is one of the most exciting new country artists to come out of the Lone Star Sate in many years! Born and raised in Dripping Springs, Texas, Michael began singing with his grandpa in church and at special events. With encouragement and support from his family, friends and a growing multitude of fans, Michael is working hard to grow as an artist and explore new and exciting areas of country music. Michael's debut CD "Living for the Moment" is professionally recorded, using only top musicians including Johnny Gimble, Floyd Domino, Danny Levin, Dick Gimble, and Rick McRae. The songs were new creations by award winning songwriter, Allen Shamblin, from Nashville. Michael has appeared with Tracy Byrd, the Bellamy Brothers, John Conlee, Ray Price and Eddie Raven. He has put together a great new band which is becoming well-known as a great two-steppin' band. They enjoy playing traditfohal country music, including hits by Merle Haggard, Ray Price and Bob Wills, as well as originals from Michael's CD and other local songwriters. Michael and the Band appear regularly at the renowned Broken Spoke and Saxon Pub in Austin, Texas, Coupland Inn and Dance Hill in Coupland, Texas, as well as The River Palace located in the heart of the Hill Country.
