LSM Blog: Digital Downloads + CD = Twice as Nice!

New LSM Feature: Many CD purchases now with option of immediate download!

watchestime.cn

You spoke, we listened...  Well, the industry actually spoke in this case.  As digital downloads continue to surge, we've made the new and improved LSM.com more friendly to those of you who want your music in MP3-format.  All of our downloads will be 192kbps or higher and we'll focus on exclusive releases in the near future.  We'll also work on getting our back catalog up-to-date with this program as time permits.  It is our sincere hope to eventually offer this option for nearly every title we carry.

However, the big news is that those of you who still cherish holding the physical product, marveling at the artwork on the cover, reading the liner notes and lyric sheets and taking the entire album as one cohesive piece of art still get that need met.

You'll always have the hard copy and no company can decide on a whim to remove content from your mobile player (Brave New World, here we come). Also, the next time your computer crashes, and with it, your digital music collection, you'll never have to repurchase your music again. You just grab your physical disk and you are back in business! And we'd be remiss in asying that CD quality is better than MP3 quality for you audiophiles...

That said, for those who have just gotten too impatient and demand the instant gratification that comes with hearing a much anticipated release for the first time, we are proud to offer the best of both worlds:  with every CD purchase currently available under the program*, you can opt to receive a free digital download by simply checking the box that appears in your shopping cart.
*we'll be adding titles to the "instant gratification" queue constantly...

Some titles will be available for digital purchase, some will not.  We will try to secure rights to sell as many titles as possible.  In the meantime, try out our new feature and let us know what you think!

I have been getting my cds from lonestar music for many, many years. i recently started downloading from itunes, because of the price and I have a touchscreen jukebox in my home and use itunes as my media player. How can i download albums from you guys instead of itunes, but still get them to play in my itunes player?
