Were singer-songwriters to form a supergroup rather than '70s art-rockers (a la Asia - remember them'), this would be it: Texas country and roots artists Lyle Lovett, Joe Ely and Guy Clark and, for good measure, bluesy Hoosier rocker John Hiatt.
