great album and you can tell the next one will be even better. has some sweet jamming songs to get drunk with like Buzzes Like Neon, Varnado, Different Groove, 21 Days Too Long. Especially Buzzes Like Neon, what a scratching song. Then you have your slower songs, which showcase Adam's awesome voice which consists of pure bama soul. Every song has substance- you can tell these songs came from years of real experience. Do yourself a favor and catch him in a few weeks at Gruene 5-9pm no cover
I was skeptical at first because I'd heard an earlier song and didn't care for it, but "Different Groove" is really a great CD. And it's not just because of Pete Anderson ... I've heard the band live and they pull it off and then some. Strong & original music, "easy listening" not because it's soft but because it's so damn good.
There is no way you are originally from TEXAS and use "omg" when you are typing. Great CD though

Adam Hood and his Band are absolutely incredible. Great lyrics, great playing, obviously great chemistry amongst 'em...what a treat. Catch 'em when you can, anytime you can; it'll be one of the best times you ever had with your clothes on...(then you can play the CD's at home, stark nekkid if you want to!)
Adam Hood makes great music. Everyone should hear the album Different Groove. Every song sounds like a hit. He's bad ass live too. Keep up the great work Adam

this dude is just one of the best ive heard in awhile....not just his new cd but everyone of his songs.....if yall havnt heard him i suggest you download or buy the cd....cause adam hood is the real deal....
