The new album is so good. The best collaboration yet by the best guitar picker in the business. Plus, the new album has a lot more harmonica than ever before, and it is of course very well done. I think Travis may be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to his music, but hey, the results are outstanding. No better artist for a lesiurely Sunday afternoon. There is a reason that Stoney LaRue and Jason Boland asked this guy to sit in with them on their Live at Billy Bob's CDs.

GREAT CD! Going solo (from the Burtschi Brothers) was a great move. This guy has real talent...check it out.

This album is sufficiently brilliant. Seeing Travis live is even better.

What a great album. His songwriting is great. There are a couple Western Swing tracks on there, too. His type of Western Swing is really cool. He also has a ton of just really tasty guitar playing. There is no boring strumming on this album. Great music and lyrics. I highly recommend it.

If you cold distill the essence of The Band and Bob Wills into one human being, Travis Linville would be the result. I have been lucky enough to hear Travis on XM radio from his Burtschi Brothers days. But, his solo record is amazing! The song Bridges is really meaningful to me as a fan because I think it serves as the link between his previous band and his new career as a solo artist. Travis' talent is too large to be tethered to the dock. He has an amazing ability to craft melody, production values and sheer bad ass guitar playing into songs that evidence the strength of character in their emotional vulnerability. I think the CDC needs to investigate Travis, because his hooks are infectious and i can't get the CD out of my player. Buy this CD.
