Snuck into Blaines Pub one night to catch these guys live and I was not disappointed at all. Buddy landed me a cd and I listened to it front to back on my way home. Awesome collection of songs. I encourage you to check them out.

Artist Review
These guys are some of the best and most original music to happen in this state in a long time. I am not one to knock people for sounding like others who have come before them, but still it is great to hear someone with a distinctive sound and even better, truly great songwriting. In my opinion, what has set Ragweed apart from everyone else in the Texas music scene is Cody's great songwriting. That said, Buddy's lyrics for MG is some of the best I've heard, period. That coupled with infectious tunes and a great live show and these guys are the real deal. Truly a breath of fresh air at a time when it seems like anyone with a guitar and a set of drums can put out a cd. Thanks to the guys at MG for rocking it and keep it up.

Uneasy
Album Review
Came upon their CD, Uneasy, when I saw Macon Greyson at a show in San Antonio at Casbeer's. I cannot say enough good things about their sound. I haven't heard anything else in Texas like them. It's hard nosed, original music. There are no comparisons to make here, you've simply got to see and hear what they do. I had never heard of this band before that night, and I wonder why? This CD deserves to be heard.

Uneasy
Album Review
It just doesn't get any better than this. If you're even contemplating the purchase of this cd, you're not worthy. Whatever "it" is, these guys have definitely have it. This is simply altcountry as it's supposed to be -- raw, emotional, dust kickin', ass-whippin' balls to the walls music -- not the same old cookie-cutter bullshit these country stations play. Hell, they're two tits shy of Brittney Spears in a cowboy hat and thong. Mmmmmm, sorry, got distracted. Anyway, if you like country with an edge - something like Uncle Tupelo, Sun Volt, etc. this is a must have.

Uneasy
Album Review
This is the BEST RECORD TO COME OUT OF DALLAS IN YEARS. PERIOD! Uneasy is remarkably intelligent and, yes, RELEVANT, especially when compared to the current crop of Texas Beer and Pick-up Music Chart clones. And, these guys can ROCK.

Artist Review
Uneasy is by far one of the best CD's out from the Lone Star State. Macon Greyson's distinct sound and fabulous lyrics hooked me from the first time I heard the CD months ago. This is the only disk I listen to on a daily basis. Buddy, Buddy, Harley, and Pete deserve top recognition from all Texas Country music fans everywhere. Not only does MG rock, there live shows kick ass! All that aside, don't be asinine and let there advanced educations get in your way...MG sure as hell doesn't! They do what they love, and you can't beat that!
