I think that mickey is one the best songwriters without question.
Just a while back i had a chance to hang out with him and listen to him play. Even though he is very sick with emphazima, and his playing was a little ruff he still brought taers to my eyes. Mickey play with all hes got and that sets a good example for what a muscian should be. Mickey is the kindest sweetest old man youll ever meet and is down to earth. Mickey wasnt supposed to live past last year but the doctor said now he may live another ten. well this is my rating on Mickey Newbury, if i could i would give him a 110 stars because thats about how much percent he puts into his music.
