There was a great review written about Sonny in one of the Texas Music Publications --my copy is not handy. Sonny had 2 prime slots on the fan fair stages this year too and appeared to have collected more fans from both shows! He played Friday on the Riverfront Stage and Saturday at the Best of Texas show which I hope they continue to next years fan fair--it was great. I ditto the other review on this page--I have owned Sonny's first cd since 4/00 and have near worn it out--there is not a bad cut on the cd! I've followed him around the DFW metrolplex for 9 years and he only continues to get better and better!

I noticed that Sonny Burgess has two songs from his album that are on the Texas Music Chart, and yet nobody has writtin a review and there isn't even a short story about Burgess when you search for him. I have the cd and it definitely deserves 5 stars, but if there are any fans out there other than me, and I know there are, because of the TMC, then you should write a review, because that is how many people decide to choose what cd's to buy, and without anything at all written about him noone will purchase this great cd. Last I would like to add if you don't own this cd, you should probably purchase it if you don't have anything else on your list because it is "good to the last drop".
