It doesn't matter who wrote 50 dollars, it is Blue's song, that is like saying The chair isn't George Strait's song. I say this as a songwriter. His last Cd Lost Boy was pretty much all his and by far his best work and one of the best cds out in the last few years. Im a close friend and a fan and can't wait to hear what he has coming next! Keep it up B, I know how hard you work brother. JT
So, here we are, December 2009, more than two years after the release of Lost Boy and Vinny is still waiting for someone to put out an album that beats it from start to finish. Lost Boy is just IT. Good luck to everyone in 2010.
Bleu Edmondson is a great musician and if you are looking for a great album, try one of these! Don't knock this album cause the Live at Billy Bobs folks have their priorities screwed up!

I love Bleu. He's a solid Texas musician. Great live show and a great song writer. It is a little disappointing, however when the bio says his songs "prove that the art of honest songwriting in the tradition of Bruce Springsteen is not dead?"
I might find another way to phrase that until his biggest hit is one that he actually wrote. Too many people pass off "50 Dollars" as a Bleu song. While he may have made it his own, Texan musicians traditionally give credit where it's due.

cody could not be more correct. it has become clear to certain people that theres a lot of money to be made from texas music fans. the problem, is that the folks in charge of the buisness part of the scene couldn't care less about the music.
take it from someone who has personally been dicked around by the smith music machine, they wont stop till they squeeze every last dime out of every last fan of the live at billy bobs series. sad sad story
so heres what i want to know...i just bought the full cd at hastings...and yet the one on this website (where i normally buy my cds) has 18 songs...where as my cd has only 15...is it just me or has the live at billy bobs cd franchise totally proven they are only about money???...TEXAS MUSIC STARTED OUT ABOUT MAKING GOOD MUSIC...IT HAS NEVER BEEN ABOUT THE MONEY...THATS WHAT MADE IT SOOO SPECIAL!!!
What is the deal with the folks who produce the Live from Billy Bob's series. They release the record, only to come back with the "Full CD". They did it with Stony and now this. Do us a favor, release it once. I support live music with my dollars so don't jerk me around.
