A Crooked Road
"A Crooked Road" is simply the most soulful record I've ever heard, bar none. Just beautiful music. Thank you, Mr. Scott, for pouring your heart out on tape for us.

Invisible Man
“Darrell Scott is one of the best songwriters on earth...and the appropriately-titled The Invisible Man just may be his best album to date. He's a real natural all the way through, and you cannot help but be drawn into his world. This incredibly catchy twelve track album features plenty of hummable, accessible feelgood tunes that are bound to put listeners in a great frame of mind. One of the most sincere and genuinely gifted singer/songwriters of our time...Darrell Scott is a man whose time has come. Highly recommended.” BabySue.com

I thought Darrell Scott's Theatre Of The Unheard was his best work until hearing a copy of The Invisible Man. This album is his best work!

Theatre Of The Unheard
Absolutely stunning! From "East of Gary", a story of loneliness and the decline of the industrial mid-west, to "Day After Day": a tale of his frustrated-songwriter father, to the achingly beautiful "Six O'clock in the Morning", and "After All", this is a jewel!

Artist Review
Darrell Scott is a suburb tallent, if you enjoy quality writing, singing and music, you will love Darrell's CDs. They are all loaded into my rack and are played often. I have never grown tired of listening to his music. Eagerly waiting on his next release. schedule. I have seen him live twice and think he is just as great live. I bet you cannot put him in a niche; he is not country, rock, pop, blues, jazz, but he writes and sings all. To pick my favorite CD is impossible, they are like children, each one is unique and special. Check him out! Be warned, you will be hooked.

Just discovered Darrell a couple of months ago. Makes me feel like I've wasted part of my life! Heard him live at Merlefest 3 or 4 times last week...Oh-ma-God, I was temporarily in Nirvana...I consequently bought every single CD he has put out and especially love his newly realeased "Theatre of the Unheard". His voice is incredibly soulful and the way he uses it is a wonderful and exciting as the instruments he is so adept at playing. He is a major gift to our mundane humanity!
