I seen Lucky last year.I didn't know much about him I just knew he opened for Hank III.I heard a few song from his myspace, sounded pretty good but did't know-em to well when I seen him.It was a little place in Cudahy WI.during the week it was not to crowded.Kick ass show from begging to end,one hell of a time!Old time country at it's best.He met with everybody during intermission and after the show the whole band was cool-Natalie Page great fiddler and what a sweetheart.I just wish I had my camera. If you get a chance see Lucky and his band you will not be disappointed.
have seen him live at the Brass Rail, great show, didn't know he had two other albums out, I have had Damn the Luck for some time now and now enjoying the others as well...Lucky, III, Hancock and Bob are where it's at today...Nashville is just a shame....
I SAW HIM AT DISNEY LAND PARIS....GREAT GREAT SHOW
Lucky Tubb represents what the Texas Hillcountry is all about. Honky Tonk to its finest. Have all of his CD's. Can't wait to see him in Sisterdale, Tx. on Oct. 2 which happens to be my wifes B-day. Go Lucky!
bought all 3 CDs and a t-shirt. Damn The Luck is a killer release and Generations aswell as Hillbilly Fever are awsome too ! Nashville is a shame today ... long live texas Hillbilly and Rockabilly music !
Damn the Luck has been in my CD player on continuous loop. My favorite country album!
I just picked up Lucky's newest album at his show in Charlotte, NC. It is truly a masterpiece of edgy, beer-soaked, honky tonk standards that make up the Lucky Tubb sound we all enjoy. The songs with Wayne the Train are great too. Go catch a show if you can. He definitely lives up to his famous lineage.
I love it; and you will too. Especially if you are a true Texas swing music lover. Happy Birthday Lucky; I'd love to party with ya sometime. Hoping I can see ya in Big D.
Just got the remastered cd at a show and it sounds sooo much better than the original. This was luckys first cd and you can really hear the talent in its rawest form. Great cd!
From the time the cd starts with "Used Up Love" to "Damn The Luck" you'll love every minute of it.Lucky's talent just keeps emerging with every cd. Look for his remastered cd, "Generations" and his upcoming new cd, "Hillbilly Fever" which Ive already pre-orderd because I can count on Lucky to put out great music that I will listen to over and over again.
